Wanda Roe, an art educator was born in Arkansas and spent most of her life in the Ozarks. She taught high school art for eleven years and recently retired after ten years as an art instructor at NWACC. Roe’s students and their award winning art have been shown on television and in state and national magazines. One student work was displayed at a National PTAConvention, and another student’s work was chosen as Arkansas’ gift to the Kennedy Center. Roe works in a variety of mediums including metal tooling & hand-painted silks. Her love of vibrant color is evident in her work and she enjoys trying new techniques to create new and different compositions. Her precise design work is usually in pen and ink. Currently she is experimenting with watercolor and washes and encaustics. E-mail: Web Site: |
