"A hand-crafted easel, a set of professional watercolors and brushes, a palette, and two Walter Foster books from Dad for Christmas at age eleven began my passion for painting with watercolors." In the many miles since then Sandy has studied with numerous nationally and internationally recognized artists in California and Arkansas. She studied design and watercolor at NWACC for seven years and has won several regional awards. She is "continually inspired by the beauty and peacefulness of her home in the hills of the Ozarks". Recently retired she looks forward to spending more time with her art endeavors and traveling. |
