Architectural Tiles and more.... Phyllis has always had a love for the arts since childhood. She grew up in New York State and attended elementary school at The Campus School at Cortland State Teacher’s College in Cortland, N.Y. “We had a wonderful art program there which encouraged students to expand their creativity as artists. I studied painting at The Grier School in Tyrone, PA during my high school years, and went on to study art at Washburn University in Topeka, Ks..and then again at NWACC .” In the fall of 2002, Phyllis decided to try her hand at clay. She studied sculpture under Deborah Terry at NWACC and discovered she had a real passion for working with clay. In 2003, she began her studies under the guidance of Master Potter Jim Young at Van Hollow Studio. Besides her work at Van Hollow, she also has her own studio at home offering pottery classes to children. Contact her for details. E-mail: mudfun5@yahoo.com Web Site: www.gusnectar.com/Vangeli.html |
