Born May 26, 1952 in Rogers at St. Mary's Hospital one of the few true natives of Rogers. I Graduated from RHS in 1970. Then worked as a Floral Designer / Manager till 1984 at Georges Flowers. I have always been fascinated with photography and used a camera from all the way back in grade school. Taking pictures of anything I could find to shoot photos of. I liked taking photos of people at camp when I was young. When we would play baseball or other outdoor activities. Then getting experience in the darkroom when in the High School Camera club. Which came in handy when I went on to become a professional photographer later in life. Started my photography carrier on October 1, 1984 as a full time professional Photographer. Still a full time professional Photographer to this day. With no formal education in photography my expertise comes from experience, talent, and a lot of hard work. As well as learning from other photographers. And now, with the computer age and everything going to the digital format, I pick up a lot of knowledge from any computer experts that I can. I also pick up good information from trade magazines and other similar photography publications. Plus experimenting with Photoshop and what it can do has helped me to find a lot of things I now use in my business. |
