After a successful career in Interior Design with a prestigious firm in the Chicago area, Beth and her husband Burt retired to the beautiful Ozarks of NWA. Retirement gave her the long-awaited opportunity to pursue her first love of art. Beth works in watercolor, gouache, and acrylic and is especially interested in landscape with old or historical buildings. She has been a student of Melissa Garrett, Rudy Aquirre, Carol Cooper, Hugh Walkinshaw, and George Kantupis, Eloise DuVal and ‘Tony Couch. Her award-winning works have been shown in many area exhibitions and juried competitions. Beth currently holds membership in the Artists of NWA. Expressive Artists and the Village Art Club. Her work is currently being shown in local galleries. A graduate of the Layton School of Art in Milwaukee, Wis. Beth was later a member of the DuPage Art League in Wheaton, IL. E-mail: Web Site: |
