Lisa Bauer

Lisa received training in graphic arts and advertising through the family business. This also includes visual design and consulting watercolor, portrait, and tutorial workshops.

Lisa reaches out to others through community projects, working as the art instructor for Area Agency on Aging, volunteering with local educators, and giving private art lessons.

She also works with the, "Witter Wildlife Refuge" as an artist illustrating animals in need of assistance.

“I don't go too far into fantasy with my work, although it does evoke imagination. I personally enjoy the feeling if only briefly, of being able to escape into the scene I've created. I hope my work will open the imagination and give you the viewer a time to dream. Maybe I'm an escape artist?!  I've been told you can read whole stories into my paintings, moving the mind and the senses ... I like that.”
