Jill York

Jill York moved to Arkansas in the mid 70's and in 2002 moved to Pineville, Missouri. She and her husband have a farm on the Elk River.

She was introduced to card making and scrapbooking by her sister-in-law in 2003 and realized she wanted explore more of her artistic side.

In 2007, while still maintaining a rewarding career in hair

styling, Jill began taking pottery classes. It didn't take long for her to realize she loved working with clay. She took numerous classes from Helmut Sperl and continues her education with him today. Jill is able to use many of her card making techniques such as rubber stamping in her pottery designs. And her walks along the river provide her with endless inspiration. She loves assisting the clay as it takes on form and beauty.

Even though Scrapbooking and card making have taken a back seat to pottery, Jill finds time to fit them in to her schedule along with part-time work at a salon.
