Courtney Trimble

About the Artist:

Courtney Trimble has done contracts for the Arkansas Forest Service, Arkansas State Parks and the Pineywoods Native Plant Center in Nacogdoches, TX. Her focus is on wildlife and botanical illustrations and colored pencil is her preferred medium. She has also done work with graphite, watercolor pencil and pen and ink. She holds a Bachelors degree in Biology.

Style:

Her style is best described as realistic yet more vibrant and colorful than life. Animals and plants are depicted as close to life as possible yet set in a more abstract background. Courtney prefers to make backgrounds in bright, sometimes rainbow shades to enhance the plants and animals in the foreground. Her desire is to make people aware of the incredible beauty and diversity of wildlife living in the Ozarks.
