Sally Bowen

Sally’s raku fired clay pendants are enhanced with stones, fossils and beads. A sense of design and rich colors enhances Sally's one of a kind jewelry. Each necklace is truly a work of art.  Using the hand built pottery method, she makes use of Raku  glazes and the ancient art of Raku kiln firing to handcraft the elements of her jewelry. She was once told her jewelry was actual archeological finds. The jewelry definitely has a look of antiquity about it, and is quite striking, truly a conversation piece.

She would like to acknowledge her teacher, Master Potter Jim Young  of Van Hollow Pottery, Rogers, AR. Sally moved from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Rogers, Arkansas in 2000. From her home overlooking scenic Beaver Lake, nestled in the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas, she is truly inspired by nature's grandeur.
