Zeek Taylor

Zeek Taylor is known for his stylized watercolors. Primarily using a dry brush technique, he is able to achieve intricate detail not often found in this medium. He favors transparent paint but sometimes combines the use of gouache and metallic ink in the same painting. Work is done on acid-free clayboard; a white clay-coated masonite panel which has greater strength and longevity than paper. Each piece is surrounded by a meticulously hand-rendered border. Subject matter includes florals, still life, animals, and fantasy themes.
