Beth Woessner

Beth thrills in any opportunity to create and design. This journey began with her first box of crayons as a child. She grew up in Southern California and now resides in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Where she juggles her four children along side her husband. Beth has worked with clay, pen and ink, collage, and now concentrates, on her two favorite mediums,..photography and water-color painting. Specializing in commissioned water color, home portraits. She loves the way sunlight plays on her subjects, especially in the sideways glow of morning or afternoon light, when the shadows are long. Water-color painting has the thrill of dazzling colors, dancing together, on the paper to create spectacular surprises all through the process. "The spontaneity and happy accidents fit my personality and pace of life!". Creating an image of God’s beauty, forever making it stand still for the viewer. Beth gratifies in being able to concentrate on that image through her lens or behind the paintbrush. An opportunity to pause, and be amazed in the details of the most simple.

To breathe, wonder, reflect and refresh with admiration.

Beth has taken art classes through the years, mostly self taught. Actual studio time is where the continuous learning journey, in creating and design take place. Beth steals away to this hide-a-way as often as possible.
