Wanda Roe

Wanda Roe, an art educator was born in Arkansas and has spent most of her life in her beloved Ozarks.

          Working in a variety of mediums and with different subject matter gives Wanda the excitement of creating a “different look” with each new painting.  She likes experimenting with new techniques and solving the challenges presented by new and unusual materials.

          Her style is loose, almost impressionistic.  Her stylistic art nouveau work in metal is in demand by collectors.  Being chosen as “Art Educator of the Year” and receiving a $1,500 Travel-Study Grant for Art are among Wanda Roe’s personal honors.

Wanda is currently serving on the Arkansas Humanities Council.
