Primitive Glass - Gary Carter

At an early age Gary Carter was fascinated with fire.  Something about it was real yet unattainable.  He felt like he could see and feel the flame, yet it never stayed the same - always moving, changing and not quite catchable.  Later, he noticed the same thing in the sky each day when the sun rose and set.  The colors and patterns were always changing like a campfire.  Hot glass is an intense medium and each piece is an emotion..a moment in time..a picture of an experience.
