Art has been a life long love. I think I was hooked on color from the time I got my first large box of crayons and rearranged them according to hue. I’m still playing with colors today, only now it’s with paints. I knew I wanted to make art my career by Jr. High and took every art class offered from then on. I got my degree in (Honors) Art from Arizona Western College in Yuma, AZ and have been painting professionally ever since. My husband, Mark, and I moved to Russellville, Arkansas in 1991 and fell in love with the area and the people. We have 3 boys and painting has given me the opportunity to stay home with them...and kept me sane at the same time! The subjects I choose are usually found in nature. I have always been fascinated with the amazing colors and details that God has put into His creations. I love exploring His ‘art’ and rendering my own version of it.
